Previous Entry Add to Memories Tell a Friend Next Entry
It seems that many of my entering-the-3rd-trimester friends are feeling much like I am these days- UNCOMFORTABLE! I have been having this pain under my left boob that I thought was attributed to tight underwire bra but alas, new soft-cup-big-mama-boob-bra is providing no relief. I think the big mama boobs are the problem, not the bra. I will ask my OB about it next week as there is a numb spot just under the pain spot. Weird. I also find it increasingly hard to get up off the floor and to roll over in bed these days because I am so frickin huge. I just can't imagine what it be like come March. And how will I ever fit behind the steering wheel?! My left foot seems to have widened but not my right so by day's end I'm limping. My back is killing me. My boobs, as said previously, are indeed growing and my nipples are doing their best to keep up. However, my right nipple looks like it has smeared lipstick. The bottom of the areola has a brown smudge veering off to the left. Yeah, super sexy.

And I have to go back to work tomorrow.

8am kashi with nonfat milk

10am fruit salad

11:30am apple and pretzels

1:30pm spinach and cheese ravioli (no sauce) and 4 bites of husband's leftover smoked sausage

2pm cherries!

6:00pm dinner out with friends- zucchini stuffed with grilled chicken, cheese, and topped with verde sauce, rice and beans. oh and some chips and salsa before dinner

7:00pm ice cream with chocolate sauce and peanuts

Boy does pregnancy sound sexy! :D

I'm so glad to hear about it though - though I won't be there for at least another year, I'm so interested in what's in store!

i can't get off the floor without help..part of my job as a montessori teacher is to teach on the floor...the kids think it's hysterical that my feet go numb and i can't get up...little jerks ;)i had a lump removed from my breast last february and there wasn't a scar..until i got pregnant..it's a HUGE brown line over my nipple..mmm mmm. pregnancy is sexy...i get some great stray hairs too that just drive the hubby wild *snort*

yeah, I work with infants and toddlers so I'm on the floor a lot too. I've become dependent on my other teachers to do the getting up and down part because when I am down, I stay down :)

and oh those stray hairs are curious little things!

Holy crap, I can't believe you mentioned the nipple smear thing! I have the same thing. It looks like the extra pigmentation was applied with an airbrush and they didn't get the outline to match up just right. Giant brown nipples, total turn-on like you said.

Oh and maybe you already do this, but I discovered today, after an afternoon of putting together furniture on the nursery floor and having to get up and down multiple times, that the easiest way of getting up off the floor for me is to go forward onto my hands and knees, then stand up butt-first and then finally straighten up my upper body. It looks a bit overdone, but it's a lot easier on both my back and belly than trying to go in one forward-directed standing-up motion. If that made any sense :-)

yep. I do that ever so graceful move quite a bit. The kids at work think I look silly and laugh at me but it's the only way I can get up!

My job makes it imperitive that I be able to squat down, sit down, and stand up on my own without holding onto anything. I am so used to it I think I could weigh 300lbs and still manage it. Lol. However, it hurts!

My boob pain has finally died down, They are regaining fullness but haven't gotten any bigger. My nipples are on the small side, of which I am grateful. I am finally feeling like my skin is getting a little tight around the abdomen but no new stretch marks yet, thank goodness and may it remain so!

Wish I could stop working now, it's so exhausting.
And oh my back! I could go on for days. Lol. I am going to the chiro Wednesday hoping to help it a fair bit.

not holding onto to anything?! I have to do the manuever stated above, going onto all fours to get up. I don't know how you do it. And I wish I had enough money so we could all stop working now. It sucks.

I have no idea how I manage it either, frankly. But when you have to bend down, squat down, get down on your knees to grab things, pick things up, and move things as often as every few minutes for eight hours... I just have to buckle down and make myself. I pretend I am skinny and limber, which doesn't work when turning sideways to walk between annoying customers that won't give me any space to get by and they sometimes get a belly in the arm or something lol. I have to remind myself that I now take up all the space in the room.

I hope work goes well for you. I empathize with your pain. I have a lot of that, too.

I woke up at 5am today and am literally feeling sick about going back to work. oh the dread!!! I'm sure once I see all the kids, I'll feel better though. And I am planning a hot bath as soon as I get home today :)

I hope you start feeling better soon too (hugs!)

Ha, the boobie border thing went back to normal after birth. So weird though! I had skin tags like crazy, and those also all stopped magically after birth. The first week after birth I looked in the mirror and yelled "My boobs are ruined forever!" but it all goes back in place. Sorry about the pain. Ligaments everywhere stretch out, even under da girls.

You can pick them off. Or they magically shrivel as soon as the hormones are gone. But I love a good pickin'.

I know you know this already, but it really will get better once the kid drops down into your pelvis more. You'll waddle more -- because you'll feel like you've got a bowling ball in your cooch -- but you'll feel less ungainly.

If this makes you feel any better, when I was about as pregnant as you are now, the kid was in there tranverse -- fucking SIDEWAYS. I was enormous and so uncomfortable, and people kept fucking stopping me and going, "wow, any day now, huh?" and I was like, "fuck you, cocksucker, I got eight more weeks of this."

yeah, I think this boy likes the transverse position too as I rarely feel him in the top or bottom regions, just out at the sides. And yeah, I've got 12 more weeks to go and can't iamgine how huge I'm going to get!
